Our office is conveniently located on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. The address is 6300 W. Parker, Suite 223 - Plano, TX 75093. Exit the Dallas N. Tollway at Parker Road. We are in Medical Office Bldg 2. It is the building closest to Midway Road.
Dr. Andrew Benson has recently assumed the practice of Dr. Paul Williams. A friend and colleague, Dr. Williams served the patients of the Plano, Frisco, and surrounding communities with excellence and integrity for thirty years. Dr. Benson continues in same philosophy of high quality, individual-centered treatment, focusing on conservative treatment options and long-term solutions. Above all, he believes that a stable, comfortable bite is priceless.
Credentials
Dr. Benson was raised in Plano and attended The University of Texas at Austin where he was an honor student in mechanical engineering. After a year-long internship in the orthopedic implant industry, he desired a career which was both craftsmanship- and people-oriented. He received early acceptance into Baylor College of Dentistry where he graduated as salutatorian of his class and then continued his training by completing a general practice residency at The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Benson then returned to Baylor College of Dentistry for three years of specialty training in prosthodontics. Dr. Benson has extensive training and experience in all aspects of restorative dentistry, including implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, and TMJ disorders, with special training in complex esthetic restorative treatments. He has presented and published research on dental materials and clinical techniques and is currently involved in research in the field of oral biology.
Dr. Benson and his wife, Grace, a pharmacist at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, are the proud parents of two children.
